Incoming Presidents Letter

Hello Bundaberg Basketball Family.

I am pleased to have been elected President of the Bundaberg Basketball Association and look forward to getting to know the players and families that are the foundation of our community.

The committee who serves this association is dedicated, hardworking and has the best interest of our players in mind when making decisions. I can already see that everyone is committed to ensuring that the players, and their families, have a great experience and are working hard to provide the best resources available to develop our players further, both on and off the court.

There are many exciting things in the works for Bundaberg Basketball. In particular, I am looking forward to utilising the skills development material provided by Basketball Queensland and expanding our reach in the community.

At this time, I would like to acknowledge the hard work and dedication that Darren Mortensen gave to this role and Bundaberg Basketball. He has worked tirelessly to, not only mend existing relationships but cultivate new ones and I hope to continue his excellent work.

Using my skills to help guide our Basketball family, I intend to serve with integrity and with the best interests of our community in mind. Thank you again for your support. I'm honoured and look forward to getting to work.
